Snowman Christmas

This card was a lot of fun, I used BoBunny’s “A Gift of Love” paper collection and combined lot’s of stitching with distressing and glitter. The Snowman was cut out using my spellbinders circle dies and then cut down a little smaller, The hat, arms and scarf I sketched then inked with TH Forest Moss Distress Ink, The hat ribbon is Raffia from Michaels and the button is from my collection given to me by my Mom (that was a combo of her and my Great Grandma’s). The small snowflakes are cut from my Martha Stewart punch & then a Forever in Time gemstone sticker was placed in the center. The background die is “Icy Wind” from Wild Rose Studio. Both the snowflakes and dies were brushed with Wink of Stella ‘Clear’.  The banner is die cut from TH Sizzix die “Tattered Banners” (and cut a little smaller). The “Very Merry” stamp is a Stampin Up set called “Short & Sweet”. The Sentiment is from a Hero Arts set called”Joy to All”. Both stamps were used with Stampin Up’s “Rich Razzleberry” ink.

Tip of the Day: Don’t limit yourself to proper art & craft supplies for your projects. The ‘trees’ in this card are actually cut stems from a Christmas Floral Pick I bought at a Boxing Day sale home decor store. I bought enough to create my Christmas floral piece and a couple of extra for my art & craft projects ;0)
