A Little Shabby Chic: This was a first for me but BoBunny’s “A Gift of Love” paper collection seemed to call for that style. The snow is Aleene’s Glittler Snow. I used Finnabair’s 3D Gloss Gel to mix with Pearl glass glitter, and Stampendous Lavender glass glitter. Prima flowers & Trim. Glossy Accents was used to attach the Finnabair Frosted Mica Flakes and the EK Success Adornments Fibers. Dusty Attic chipboard ‘Marrakesh Trellis’ was covered in Finnabair Clear Crackle Texture Paste & Ranger Distress Carackle Paint ‘Clear Rock Candy’. The Inks used on Distressing were Stampin Up’s Rich Razzleberry & Tim Holtz Forest Moss. The ‘Very Merry’ is Stampin Up! Short & Sweet set. NOEL stamp is from an Inkadinkado ‘Holiday Filigree’. I used some cheesecloth brushed with Wink of Stella ‘Clear’, an Epoxy Glitter Dot by Bottle Cap Inc. and a little Stampendous Vintage Lilac Embossing Tinsel. The background was stamped with one of Finnabairs texture stamps.

Christmas Carols: This was my Hubby’s card this Christmas. I used the gorgeous Graphic 45 paper  “Christmas Emporium Collection”. The card took a lot of time as the distress inks kept bleeding through the snow. I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte on the inks before adding the snow but I guess I didn’t let it dry long enough because I had to add it to the snow and add another layer of snow before it would stay white. But in the end I was happy with it so another lesson learned :0) The holly is die-cut from the Sizzix line called Festive Greenery. The ‘berries’& gold stix are from home decor pieces I bought on sale. The inks used in distressing are Tim Holtz Distress Inks – Walnut Stain, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo & Forest Moss. The Stamp is Stampin Up!

Father Christmas: This card was made for my grandparents. I used the BoBunny’s “Father Christmas” paper collection for the layers and to die-cut the greenery (Sizzix Die “Festive Greenery”). I also used one of their chipboard pieces for the calendar embellishment. For the berries I used Stickles Christmas Red and the snow is Snow-Tex with some Wink of Stella (clear) brushed over it. As you can see I love to distress my paper and I think it suits the Father Christmas theme.
